Shine Pro features in details

If you are serious about getting any model of Shine Pro, you are about to realize some of the best features. Some of these features include;

  • Multiple sized document compatibility
  • When you want to scan different-sized documents, sometimes it can be tricky. Other scanners can only accept A4 and smaller documents. However, you will find this series ideal for your work.

Shine800A3 Pro has excellent support for different-sized documents. It can work on A3, A4, and other smaller documents. Shine500Pro and Shine800 Pro are restricted to A4 and smaller-sized docs for the other two models.

Depending on the task, you can settle on one that suits your scanning job perfectly.

  • Ultra-high-speed scanning ability
  • Forget the age when scanning took all your energy and time. Shine Pro is excellent at increasing your productivity. Whether you want it for personal or business purposes, it’s a perfect piece of equipment.

The lightning scanning speed of less than a second per page is thrilling. Whether you have a bunch of A3, A4 documents, ID cards, photos, and others, you will love the speed.

With this scanner, getting your 100 pages converted into digital format is possible in less than 5 minutes.

  • Compact and easy portability
  • If you travel a lot, this scanner is your best companion. Construction is evolutional and optimized to enable portability. The body has aluminum construction which cuts weight significantly. This gives the scanner a featherweight when you are carrying it in your bag.

Apart from aluminum body, the design allows it to fold down. This not only saves space but also makes it possible to fit in your backpack. In the case of Shine800A pro, it has a 2-way adjustment. You can adjust the height as well as fold it down.

  • High-resolution document cameras
  • The camera resolution is vital for the type of image qualities you get. That is why higher resolution cameras are essential for modern scanners. With high resolution, Shine Pro boasts great capture with crisp clarity.

You can get super clear scans since these scanners have robust image sensors. Like Shine800 Pro and Shine800A3 Pro, they have 8MP cameras with270dpi and 270/205dpi, respectively. On the other hand, Shine500 Pro has a 5MP camera with 210dpi.

Whichever you choose, I find the quality quite satisfying. The differences in quality are minimal.

  • Multiple languages recognition OCR feature
  • Whenever you need editing your scans, traditional scanners have a limit. Especially, they have a narrow range of recognized languages. That is why I love Shine Pro series scanners. You can scan and edit documents without difficulty.

The powerful OCR software can detect over 180 languages. You can therefore capture a scan, edit, and save it in your likable way. Whether you need it in JPG, searchable PDF, standard PDF, Word, and Excel, you have it your way.

  • Integrated AI technology
  • Before artificial intelligence technology, everything was manual. Whether it's scanning, cropping, adjusting doc, and others, you had to do it manually. This is no more when you have any of these scanners.

The advanced AI technology ensures you can relax as the machine does most of the tasks. You get smart paging which auto-correct the tilting, combines sides, and others.

Transforming your documents and images is now stress-free and requires less energy and time.

What I love about Shine Pro Scanners

    • Collapsible, lightweight, portable design
    • Integrated AI technology
    • Easy software download
    • Compatibility with zoom
    • USB power plug
    • Hands-free scanning
    • Video recording capability

What I dislike About Shine Pro Scanners

    • There is no curve flattening technology

    • They only work on flat documents

    More about Shine Pro

One more thing about the Shine Pro scanner is you can connect it to zoom. Therefore, it’s possible to share the screen with others. Whether you are teaching your students or in a meeting, you can now share screenshots and annotations.

    Using annotation tool

When sharing the zoom screen, the scanner allows you to use a variety of annotation tools. You can therefore draw, make selection, spotlight, and stamp. It’s a feature that ensures teachers and people doing presentations enjoy simple tasks during demonstrations.

Using the annotation tool during zoom is simple since you need to select, drag and use the mouse wheel to zoom in.

    Downloading Shine Pro software

Shine pro comes with CD for software installation. However, there are some instances people have received it without software CD.

    In such cases, you don’t need to panic; follow these steps;

    • In your browser, type CZUR.com
    • In the top right corner, select an icon indicating ‘download software.’
    • Choose the model of your scanner
    • Select your operating system
    • Click download

     Shine Pro FAQ

A: No, it’s designed for flat documents

Q: is this scanner compatible with Chromebook?

A: No, it isn’t compatible with Chromebook

Shine Pro VS Shine Ultra; Which is better?

These two scanners have a lot of similarities. Making a choice can even be confusing.

The performance in both scanners is fantastic. Speed and scan quality are up to the expectation. However, Shine Ultra has better handling when it comes to scanning books.

Additionally, Shine Pro scanners aren’t for scanning bound books. They have no curve flattening technology.

    My take;

Shine Pro is the machine to grab if you want a scanner just for simple tasks and flat documents.

However, for scanning bound books and A3 documents, go for Shine Ultra.

    Summary

Shine Pro is a scanner that is right for your light tasks. The design and performance are just on the point. Despite lacking some vital features like its big brothers, it will get your job done.
